Hey friend, If this landed in your inbox, and you thought, "Oh. She's still here..." You're right. I haven't written a Quench newsletter all year. Not because I ran out of words. But because I was busy living into them. 2025 was a year of quiet, foundational shifts for me:
It was a year that didn't need commentary while it was happening. But it did need reflection afterward. ThirstSo many of us hit midlife carrying full resumes, full calendars, and empty cups. We've done what we were "supposed" to do; and yet something still feels unquenched. Not broken. Just unfinished. If you're here, I'm guessing you know that feeling. RecipeQuench has always been rooted in this truth: You don't need a brand-new life. You need a more honest one. In 2026, this newsletter will return as a monthly pour:
No hustle culture. No performative success. No pretending. Just clarity, compassion, and forward motion - served simply and straight up. What to expect going forward...Starting in January 2026, you'll hear from me once a month. Not daily. Not noisy. Consistent. Intentional. Worth opening. And if this season of life no longer fits where you are, I honor that too. But, if you're still thirsty - pull up a barstool. Thanks for staying. Thanks for growing. Here's to being quenched. Cheers to you and to 2026, Lynne If you're still here, you're in the right place. If not, no hard feelings - unsubscribe freely. |
Quench is for midlife professionals who are accomplished, yet unfulfilled and are craving a more meaningful and satisfying life. Stop thirsting. Start doing. Get quenched.

So I bought it. I came home, unpacked my little shopping bag, and started putting everything away. Then I looked at my other lip liners. And there it was. A nearly brand-new Nightmoth lip liner. Apparently, I'd already bought it. I just forget I had it. I stood there laughing at myself. Then,...
Hey friend, A few weeks ago, my 90-year-old mother and I were out running errands. By that point, we'd been in and out of stores, riding around town, checking things off the list. Mom has arthritis in her knees, and some days they really bother her. As we were wrapping up, I asked, "Do you want to stop by Lowe's and get some flowers for the back deck?" Without missing a beat, she said: "I'm not hurting when I do something I love." Now, let's be clear. The arthritis didn't magically disappear....
Hey friend, I had two photo shoots this month. A headshot session I had planned. And a brand shoot opportunity that popped up last minute, with three outfit changes and full production. And if I'm honest? I was nervous about both of them. Not because I didn't need new images. But because a small voice kept saying: "Wait until you're a little further along." Thirst It's been over four years since my last set of photos. And a lot has changed. I've lost weight. Shifted direction in my business....
